And just like that .... everything changes!
I’m watching J attempt to commando crawl underneath the tv unit, whilst in fits of giggles. I say “Jacob!!” and attempt to give him my best Mummy stare but he’s developed selective hearing already! I cannot believe I am sat here writing my first blog with an 8 month old baby. Where has the time gone! I feel as if I blinked in January then opened my eyes and its September.
Working in the treatment room seems a million miles away now, I miss seeing all my lovely clients who have supported me through the years, sharing both mine and their life stories. Starting my own business at the age of 21 was a challenge, but its been a successful and enjoyable 11+ years and I’m looking forward to getting back into the industry very soon. I can safely say J is definitely the most challenging manicure and pedicure client I have ever had! His nails are so sharp, they grow so fast and are so tiny. He’s a very reluctant client, I often tell him “people pay good money for these treatments” as he’s trying to fight me off him. He does love a massage though and overall he is a very chilled baby, I wonder if its due to all the relaxing therapy music he must of listened to whilst I was pregnant.
I have never been so tired and disorganised but I’ve also never laughed and smiled so much.
So.. I’ve decided to start a blog called Elements Beauty, Baby and Me. A blog about beauty, products, babies and life in general, as most of you know I’m an over-sharer so this should be pretty simply right?!
